§1

Our Commitment

Silvey & Co. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), doing business as BusinessGuard, is committed to ensuring that the BusinessGuard platform (the "Service") is accessible to all users, including individuals with disabilities. We recognize that digital accessibility is both a legal obligation and a core element of responsible product design.

The Company targets conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI). WCAG 2.1 Level AA defines a widely accepted standard for web accessibility and is referenced by applicable legal frameworks, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the European Accessibility Act (EAA).

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time achievement. The Company continuously evaluates and improves the Service to identify and remediate accessibility barriers and to ensure that new features and updates are developed with accessibility as a design requirement from inception.

The Company maintains accessibility as a standing product requirement in its development lifecycle. All new features, components, and user interface changes are evaluated against WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria prior to release.

§2

Conformance Status

The Service is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some portions of the Service may not yet fully conform to all applicable success criteria, and the Company is actively working toward full conformance.

The Company conducts regular internal accessibility audits to identify areas of non-conformance. Known issues are documented, prioritized by severity and user impact, and tracked through the Company's development workflow for remediation.

The Company is committed to achieving and maintaining substantial conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA across all primary user workflows, including account registration, authentication, report submission, search functionality, moderation interfaces, and account management.

Conformance status is reviewed on a quarterly basis and updated as accessibility improvements are deployed to the production environment.

§3

Technical Specifications

The Service is designed to be compatible with current versions of widely used web browsers, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Microsoft Edge. The Company tests the Service against the two most recent stable releases of each supported browser.

The Service is designed to be compatible with commonly used assistive technologies, including screen readers (such as NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver), screen magnification software, speech recognition tools, and alternative input devices.

The Service relies on standard web technologies, including HTML, CSS, ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications), and JavaScript, and is developed in accordance with semantic markup principles to support assistive technology interoperability.

Interactive components within the Service are developed using accessible UI primitives that support keyboard navigation, focus management, and appropriate ARIA roles, states, and properties.

The Service supports user-configurable text scaling and respects operating system and browser-level accessibility preferences, including high-contrast modes and reduced-motion settings, where technically feasible.

§4

Known Limitations

Certain complex data visualizations, including charts, graphs, and aggregate analytics displays, may not yet provide fully equivalent alternative text descriptions or tabular data representations. The Company is working to provide accessible alternatives for all data visualizations.

PDF documents generated by the Service for export or download purposes may not yet fully conform to PDF/UA (ISO 14289) accessibility standards. The Company is evaluating remediation options to ensure that exported documents are accessible to assistive technology users.

Some third-party embedded content or integrations may not be fully within the Company's control with respect to accessibility conformance. The Company evaluates third-party components for accessibility prior to integration and works with vendors to address identified barriers.

Certain legacy interface elements may contain accessibility gaps that are being addressed as part of the Company's ongoing remediation program. The Company prioritizes remediation based on the severity of the barrier, the frequency of user interaction, and the availability of workarounds.

The Company is committed to remediating all known accessibility issues on a rolling basis. Critical barriers that prevent users from completing essential tasks are prioritized for immediate remediation. Other identified issues are scheduled for resolution within the next two development cycles following identification.

§5

Feedback and Contact

The Company welcomes feedback from users regarding the accessibility of the Service. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, have difficulty using any feature of the Service with an assistive technology, or have suggestions for improving accessibility, please contact us.

Accessibility inquiries, feedback, and barrier reports may be submitted by email to: accessibility@thebusinessguard.com. Please include a description of the issue, the page or feature affected, the assistive technology or browser you are using, and any other information that may assist the Company in identifying and resolving the barrier.

The Company shall acknowledge receipt of all accessibility feedback within two (2) business days and shall provide a substantive response, including an estimated remediation timeline where applicable, within five (5) business days of receipt.

If you require information provided through the Service in an alternative accessible format, please contact the Company at the email address above, and we will make commercially reasonable efforts to accommodate your request in a timely manner.

§6

Assessment and Review

The Company conducts regular internal accessibility audits of the Service, including automated testing, manual inspection, and assistive technology testing, to identify and document accessibility barriers.

The Company utilizes a combination of automated accessibility testing tools and manual expert evaluation to assess conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria. Automated tools are used for initial detection, and manual testing is conducted to evaluate criteria that require human judgment.

The Company plans to engage a qualified, independent third-party accessibility auditor to conduct a comprehensive conformance evaluation of the Service. The results of such evaluation, including identified issues and remediation plans, will be used to inform the Company's accessibility roadmap.

Accessibility assessment results are reviewed by the Company's product and engineering teams on a quarterly basis to ensure that identified issues are prioritized, tracked, and resolved in accordance with the Company's remediation commitments.

§7

Enforcement and Legal

The Company acknowledges its obligations under applicable accessibility laws and regulations, including, without limitation, Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (42 U.S.C. § 12181 et seq.), Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. § 794d), and the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), to the extent applicable to the Service.

This Accessibility Statement is provided in the spirit of transparency and reflects the Company's good-faith efforts to comply with applicable accessibility standards. This statement does not create any legal rights, obligations, or warranties beyond those established by applicable law.

The Company is committed to responding promptly and in good faith to any accessibility-related complaints, regulatory inquiries, or enforcement actions. Users who believe that the Service does not comply with applicable accessibility requirements are encouraged to contact the Company at accessibility@thebusinessguard.com before filing a formal complaint, so that the Company may have the opportunity to address the concern directly.

This Accessibility Statement was last reviewed and updated on April 6, 2026. The Company shall review and update this statement at least annually, or more frequently as warranted by material changes to the Service or applicable legal requirements.
